 Overall, social media
have ruined younger lives as teenagers are sitting around with their gadgets in
their hands all day long, tapping messages onto screens instead of
communicating with real people and is affecting their learning skills, as teenager’s
spending too much time on social media and much lesser time on socializing in
person. Moreover, lack of body signal besides other nonverbal cues, including
tone and inflection in case of social media platforms as an adequate
replacement for fact to face communication and not able to communicate in with
someone in an effective manner. On the contrary, teenagers are often more
comfortable with talking to strangers on social media as many molester and
predators pose as children online to network with young victims and some even
go as far as using other people’s pictures and stealing identities, which leads
to people lives being ruined as their private life is revealed on social media.
